There are parts of myself I need to change and I cannot rely on others to change for me. There was a hole deep inside of me that no one could fill but myself, and only when I filled it with the right thing did my life start to take form. Stop looking around out there for respect, love, and happiness when it must start from within, only then will you truly find peace and contentment.

Jana,
I once read a story about a wise old native american indian. His soul was troubled. He believed that in each of us there are two dogs fighting for dominance. One dog is good, the other evil. He said: “The dog that wins, is the one we feed the most.”
Your are right-it is up to us.

I also like the saying that ‘death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it, eat its fruit.
I remember reading that saying too Alan, thanks for sharing 🙂
